Photos from my current class at Knit and Stitch.  I'm teaching beaded knitting.

The project is a feather and fan scarf.

Class

As you may have gathered, since after all this is a knitting blog, I am a knitter.  I'm a passionate knitter.  Knitting helps me relax and unwind.  It helps me to escape from the ever-present stress in Troop Committee meetings.  While I have known how to knit for over 30 years, I've only become passionate about knitting, some in my home might say obsessed with knitting, in the past few years.  My lastest joy is sock knitting.  Toe-up sock knitting to be more prescise.  Last night I found what I believe will become my favorite bind off for toe-up socks.  It's not the first time I've searched and searched for something and ended up at Grumperina's blog.  Guess I should check in on what she's up to a little more often, eh?

Nothing Can Happen More Beautiful Than Death...

On Saturday, May 25, death harkend my door with the weapon shown above!

I couldn't be more pleased.

I was killed by my assassin's assassin, Beekie1eye, who also sent along a lovely orchid cactus cutting.

J is for...

Jewelry.... 100_1073_6

I like to make my own.  One of my favorite things to make is bracelets.  Some of my favorite beads to work with include Swaroski Crystals, freshwater and/or glass pearls with a few gemstones thrown in here and there.  I have  also taught many of these peices at Baker's in Merritt Island.
